SK fend off Immortals

SK outplayed Immortals to win 16-13 on Train in their opening match in Jönköping.

The third match at DreamHack Summer 2016 brought together SK and Immortals of Group A. SK came to the tournament with Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander and Valdemar "⁠valde⁠" Bjørn Vangså as Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche signed with Liquid and Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif is temporarily unavaliable. 

The map in the best-of-one match was Train and Immortals started on the T-side. valde and Asger "⁠AcilioN⁠" Larsen got the first kills of the pistol round, grabbing the round for SK. An early third round purchase by the Brazilians worked thanks to Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles's triple kill.

Friis' effort kept SK alive

After Immortals tied the game at 2-2, SK took the lead but the reply was immediate from Immortals who tied it once again (3-3). The back-and-forth half ended 9-6 in Immortals' favor.

Michael "⁠Friis⁠" Jørgensen clutched a 1vs3 to win the second half pistol round and Andreas "⁠MODDII⁠" Fridh's triple kill tied it at 9-9. Immortals secured the fourth round but just when they got ahead 12-9 and it seemed like they were taking control, SK answered, tying it at 12-12. SK were able to win the match 16-13 as they finished it by picking up seven of the last eight rounds.
